The scientific and industrial communities are often unaware of the work of each other. We aim to provide a service where you can find all the information you require, for a specicific specialisation, all on the same web site. We would welcome suggestions for other areas.
This web site aims to bring together the research and the industrial communities, to enable them to learn from one another. On this web site, we provide resources that, we hope, are useful to both communities.
We were motivated to develop this web site as we recognized that for many subjects there is a wide gap between the industrial community and the scientific community. This web site plans to provide as much information in one place that could be of interest to both communities.
The team that develops/supports this web site have access to both communities, but we are always looking to add to the information contained on the site. Please let us know if you think there is anything wrong with the information on these pages or if there is something that we should add.
We are also seeking to add to the subject areas that we cover. If you would like to see a particular domain appearing on this web site, please let us know by emailing Alex Douglas (firstname.lastname@example.org). We cannot make any promises, as each domain we cover requires a huge investment of both time and resources but we would like to develop this web site in ways that are useful to all those that access it.
